To create a new Symbol, open the Palette Manager from the Project Menu shown below.
- The Symbol and Palettes Manager window will open and you will land on the Symbols tab. Select the Palette tab. Click the Create + button to create a new symbol.
- Enter the symbol a name, and open the Sketch Editor to draw the symbol or uploading a symbol by using the upload option in the symbol file section.
- Create your symbol in Sketch, and click the 'Save Symbol' button.
- With a Symbol added, click on Save to save the New Symbol.
